From the Berzdorf Lake car park walk through the small village of Tauchritz. In the forest follow the way along the Pliesnitz and go up the hill in the direction of Sachsenhütte. Then you can toboggan at the hill towards Blaue Lagune if there is snow.
The final section takes you along the Berzdorf Lake. Discover a varied animal world which can be experienced also in winter and enjoy the silence of the forest.
You can take this walk if theres is snow but it also nice if there isn't snow.
From the car park at Berzdorf Lake walk across the Kirchplatz to the centre of the village. Continue walking along Berzdorfer Straße, after 300 metres turn left into "Viehweg". Go straight ahead until you reach the edge of the forest.
Now follow the way which runs above the Pliesnitz stream. After the first rise follow the course of the way on the right to the next rise - now follow the course of the way on the left. You have to climb another rise. You will reach a small "crossroads", turn right and follow the course. You will reach a street and turn right. Now the way descends. If there is snow, you can sled.
At the foot of the street you see the Berzdorf Lake. Now follow the course of the street towards Blaue Lagune. When you arrive at the lake, turn right and follow the way along the shore back to the car park.
If there is snow, it is recommended to take the sledge with you. The tour can also be done with cross-country skis.
In winter there is no snow clearing and gritting. It can be slippery and there can be a lot of snow, so that it is difficult to walk.
By car, follow B99 in the direction of Zittau, turn left at the roundabout traffic towards Tauchritz. Then turn into the "Am Wasserschloss" street.
