The sun’s shining brightly over the fully equipped park – last weekend this perfect setting at the Snowpark Alta Badia attracted several riders accompanied by a film and photo crew. Several features were tested and shredded to bits. We have the pictures and the riders’ résumé of what to expect from the Snowpark Alta Badia.

Parkdesigner Daniel Hruby and his shape crew used all their energy resources to finish the park’s setup as quickly as possible. Freeskiers and snowboarders are now invited to practice their moves on a total of 34 obstacles. Together with the media crew, the freeskiers Elia Mersa, Jonathan Trappelst, Max Mangutsch and Daniel Justino as well as the Snowboarder Marc Grossgasteiger gave us a taste of what’s possible on this top-notch setup.

Marc Grossgasteiger draws a positive conclusion, “The park’s very impressive this year.” The locals Elia Mersa and Daniel Justino seemed to be totally convinced by the park as well, “I can definitely recommend coming to the Snowpark Alta Badia. The obstacles are in amazing shape everyday. Everyone who comes here won’t forget the park too soon.” Daniel chuckles. “The park’s just brilliant. My favorite feature?” Elia stops to think for a second but then quickly continues, “The first rail at the park, that’s where you can get really creative.”

The camera crew seemed to be as enthusiastic as the riders. “The shapers at Alta Badia are doing an amazing job and they’re super friendly as well. We had a great time filming the long line. It leads from the top to the bottom end of the chair lift and offers loads of possibilities for long runs,” cinematographer Balint Hambalko says. When being asked about what makes the park so special, photographer Patrick Steiner replies, “Besides the cool selection of rails, you can have the best pizza ever at Alta Badia. Eating pizza while lying in your deck chair and watching the riders shredding the park – that’s quite a unique feeling.”
